Reviewing a classic

Hello readers,

today I have an unusual review for you which I kind of tried to avoid writing. I feel reviewing classics is so hard, which is why I usually do not do it but with his one I actually felt surprised and disappointed at the same time, so I thought with being busy and still recovering that this is the perfect book for my Sunday review this week.

You wondering which book I am talking about?

Well Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
With classics I usually expect a writing style that’s often not easy to read for me. However this one I fell in love with. It was incredible easy to understand. As for the character of Jane Eyre. She was such an unusual character for that time, which actually intrigued me and made me read on. However as much as I loved the first two parts of the novel, the last part moved incredible slow and was absolutely not my thing.
If I would rate all the parts separately I would give the first one 4 stars, the second 5 and the third one 1 star. Overall I rated it 4 stars and it is absolutely one of my favorite classics.

So that was it for today, I hope you enjoyed today’s quick review.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments below and I see you again soo; for another bookish post.

Take care,
📚 Nadja
