My Reread-A-Thon 2018 TBR

Hello readers,

As announced earlier this month will I be participating in the Reread-A-Thon 2018 created by Merphy Napier. If you haven`t seen my announcement, go an check it out here.

There will be four main challenges and the bookstagrammers and bloggers have different themes.
My theme for the reread-a-thon will be to read from your favorite genre which in my case is thriller/crime.
As I am not rereading often or much anylonger I want to use this reread-a-thon to combine as many challenges as possible.

So my first pick would be a Quick Read and an Old Favorite in one which is The Orange Girl by Jostein Gaarder. I read that about 10 years ago for the first time and fell in love with it, so I hope I will like it just as much the second time around.

My second pick is also an Old Favorite and a book I have reread many times. It is also a Childhood Favorite and Childhood Classic and it is The Never Ending Story by Michael Ende. With this one I know I will still love it. I love the movies, I love the story and the writing. And I actually still have the edition from 1979. This book will forever be in my heart. It also belongs to the books that define me.

My third pick is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Now you actually may not know this but I really didn`t like Harry Potter as a child/teen. I have just recently given it another try so this falls into the challenge of rereading a book to give it a second chance, as well as rereading in preparation for a new release in my case, to pick up Harry Potter and the goblet of fire. Rereading Harry Potter actually helped me love this series more so we can also add it to that theme.

My fourth pick is to read from my favorite genre and it is also my first reread of this book as will giving this book a second chance and that is Perfume by Patrick Süskind. I read that when I was around 16 and remember liking it but at the same time I felt more than disgusted by it so I also want to give this one a second chance.

And my final pick is to reread a recent favorite (which we actually already got with Harry Potter, but I wanted to add to it) which is kind of hard to choose, but I think I am going with The Surrendered by Case Maynard which I read two years ago, absolutely loved it, one of my favorite genres and a quick read.

Let me know what you will be reading!

And I hope to see you again soon.
Take care,
📚 Nadja
