My May TBR

Hello readers,

I have recently been really quiet and have to apologize for that. Sickness, emergencies, anxiety and a reading slump.
I still feel slumpish. Mainly on everything so the little blogging break was needed. I am also playing with the thought of joining Booktube - what do you guys think?

Anyways today I wanted to quickly share with you guys what books are currently on my TBR and by that possible reads for May.

As I am still slumpish you may have guessed it, I have a couple of books that I started but then put away. I want to finish those. Currently reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and enjoying it but taking my time. I also started The Final Empire (Mistborn Book 1) by Brandon Sanderson but put it away for now. I however hope to get back to it in May. I also started Himself by Jess Kidd which seemed like a very dark thriller, but the writing was something I struggled with, so I also hope to get back to that one in May.

And then I have two more reads I hope I can pick up. The first one is Madam Tulip and the Knave of hearts by David Ahern. I read the first book in this series at the end of last year and have a review up on the blog. I really enjoyed that “crime” novel with some sense of humor. It was a light read and I am hopeful to pick it up soon.
The second book is The Gladiator and The Guard by Annie Douglass Lima. I also read the first book of this dystopian trilogy The Collar and the Cavvarach last year (review is also on the blog) and really enjoyed it. So looking forward to picking it up soon.

What are you going to read? Let me know in the comments below.

If you want to know my thoughts on Elantris and diving into huge fantasy books, I hope to get this up next week up.

I wish you all a great week and happy reading.

See you again soon for another bookish post.

Take care,
📚 Nadja
